Seiko SUJE79 wrist watches news:
Hello to all of you !A nice event of my newly born collection : a Longines machine perfectly working came to me as a present. I was lucky to find a Doxa case that, i hope, temporarily is housing the machine.I am so happy with this new piece of my colection that I will share with you.Could you falks tell me what infos could be gathered regd. this machine?I was told that the original case was a solid gold one that's why dissapeared, probably melted. The machine is a Cal. 12.68Z manual winding , 17 jewels and the nr. is 8984830.CIMG9539.jpgCIMG9540.jpgCIMG9544.jpgWhen dismanteling the dial was severely scratched and deformed. Do you think it could be repaired?Thank you in advance !
My dress watch is a Raymond Weil Tradition Automatic and I love it. But I wanted something that would work casually, so I looked around. I wanted a watch with roman numerals and was closely looking at the Tissot Le Locle in stainless. But around that time, there was a really good offer here on the sales forum for a Jaques Lemans Geneve in rose gold at a really good price. It wasn't exactly what I was looking for, but compared to what it was going for I thought it was a great deal and took it. It has served me well but the rose gold plating began washing off over the last few months and now the coloring just looks wierd. So I've been thinking, myabe it's possible I can take it to WatchCentral over at Grand Central station and have them completely remove the plating, if possible and turn it into a stainless steel with rose gold numerals and hands, ORI can get the Tissot, even though worthwise I think it would be lower than the JL.Can someone help me on thisthanks
I did not see a place for Tag Heuer timepieces so I will post here, I am in the process of purchasing an Aquagraph, I like the case size and the looks of this timepiece, 43mm case diameter, 500m water resistance, not that I am a diver or would ever go that deep intentionally...I also do not have this movement in my collection.I was curious, I called a local AD an they said that this watch is no longer in production. When I called for pricing he said he would have to call Tag, He called me back and said that Tag is no longer making this model. I went to Tags web site ands I did see the watch, Does anyone know anything about this model and if it is still in production? Another question is I see that Tags best movement is their Cal. 36. Does anyone know about the Caliber 60 (Base Dubois De`praz 2073)What other watches use the Dubois De`praz 2073 movement? My concern is this not being an ETA movement, when the watch needs to be serviced down the road in 4 to 5 years is it going to be hard
HiMy friend has a Jupiter pilot A50927 & he is looking to sell it.How much would it be worth roughly? It's from 1993 & has all paperwork & original boxThanks
After being unable to locate a thread for the 116613 LB, I have decided to start one for this beautiful and amazing timepiece. Since this Forum has an Owner's Club/Thread for almost all other versions of the Submariner, it is only fitting that a thread be created for what is arguably one of the most recognizable watches in Rolex history. So to all owners of the 116613 LB or 16613 LB, post your pictures and write your comments here regarding this legendary watch.
