Roger Dubuis SYM43 78 9 wrist watches news:
What do you guys do with the older, cheaper watches that you bought/wore before you became obsessed?I have a few Wenger Swiss, a Skagen, a Citizen quartz, and some others that I no longer wear or are interested in. These aren't really worth much...$30 or so, so I'm not thrilled about taking the time to list them on eBay or Craigslist. I'd like to clear out room in my box - should I take them to a pawn shop?
I found a service that appears to be capable of polishing/restoring gold plated watches using a new technology, unfortunately, this jeweler has declined to service any of the watches I have presented to him. So I still have not found a solution to the problem of how to obtain restoration service on a gp watch after a few years of wear. I hope to find another jeweler that has one of these new Starweld Microwelders that this jeweler employs, and hope that another jeweler will provide restoration service on a wider range of timepieces, not discriminating against the ones I want to buy.Any thoughts?
Hey Guys, been in Vegas the last couple of days, missed the great blizzard of '15, thank god, 😅. Visited the new AP boutique yesterday and was given the royal treatment by the boutique manager Zizo & his second in command Dom. Great people & visit. Going again today, if anyone of of you guys are around, let's go together & check it out. Zizo said, he's going to have some special pieces bought in for me. Quite excited. Here are some random shots. Also met Luc the RM boutique and he had a wealth of knowledge & was extremely accommodating. Let me know gents. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I am sure quite a number of you have watched this already but... just a casual clip called Time Travel by Bloomberg TV India. They dig into AP's Grande Complication, history etc.And Olivier Audemars showcases his personal collections.youtube/watch?v=kFeIskdGDfE
Hey all,My wife just got me a slightly early Christmas present this weekend...it was not really a surprise since both of us walked into the store together...but she agreed to it, so that is just as good as her getting it for me!! :D I have been eyeing the Omega Hour Vision for over a year, but the admission price was just too high. I almost got it a few months ago when Bailey Banks & Biddle was in the early part of bankruptcy and was offering 20% off on the watch...but i still thought that it was too expensive for an Omega. Anyways, we went to the store again yesterday just to browse and see if there was any bargain to be had. Well, this is the end of Bailey Banks and they were offering 50% off on all their leftover high-end watches. I was thinking of picking up a Breitling or Tag for daily wear. When i passed by the Omega counter, there it was...the ONLY Omega left...the Omega Hour Vision...the same one that i have been drooling about for over a year! And it had the 50% off
