Jaeger LeCoultre Q5543301 The Related Reviews:
- The look of the watch is beautiful. The face is super large and eye-catching and sturdy, but the strap is cheap cheap cheap. The white resin is very light and looks like everything that touches it will leave an indelible mark.

Jaeger LeCoultre Q5543301 wrist watches news:
Hi all. I have had this watch for many years, but have no idea what it is. A friend decided that he didn't want it anymore, and gave it to me. I figured it was just a regular watch, and put it in my jewelry box because it was old and neat. The outside back engraving is dated 12-25-54 and has 14K GOLD L&K stamped on the edge. Inside the back cover is 14K GOLD L&K 1700 with what looks like MK 557 scratched into it. The inner workings show the following: CYMA WATCH CO. R.455 17 SEVENTEEN JEWELS SWISS UNADJUSTED 4131 and COY. Any info about it, including potential value would be greatly appreciated. (I had never even noticed the 14K gold marking until sorting through some of my old jewelry.) Is the entire housing gold? Thank you for any help solving this mystery. Took a dive into Ramon's deep sea treasure chest and came up with this...This is the midsized(38mm) 4205 automatic Seiko diver from June of 1993.It is 17 jewels; beats at 21,600bph and is hand windable. The watch has now been cleaned and put on a Citizen Jubilee bracelet which fits almost perfectly.Pictures of that to come...camera batteries are all on charge
Hey Guys, Here in florida on vacation and was in a Tourneau watch store today. Decided to pick up a Hydroconquest, 41 mm, black, automatic. So far Im loving it! no pictures for a while because I dont have the camera cord here. As this is my first automatic i have a few questions...What's the best way to make sure i treat the movement right? like how many winds? anything i should/shouldn't do to keep it in good shape? Also, When i adjusted the time and was trying to screw back in the crown, it seemed like it slipped for a second and i think this was in the movement position (you have to push in and screw from the movement position to catch the threads). I am thinking that this extra few quick turns were actually attached to the movementWould this damage it? I have heard some movements have clutch systems that cause slip to prevent over wind, is this what happened? As this is my first automatic I am open to any advice you guys may have! Thanks!

None of the company's records indicate the reason for the change. Interestingly, this is one of the few models that was never shown in the catalog with the applied gold numeral dial version. From what I've seen on eBay, the ratio of dials with gold numbers vs. black is at least 20:1.1935193619371938
any recomendations on the slate grey / grey sub dial chrono evo?
