Omega 12315272001001 wrist watches news:
There was a time when I was new to all this that I would not be too keen on having a watch that was discontinued. Sounds silly, doesn't it? Makes me out to be a fashionista or something like that. Not anymore I hasten to add.It seems that's what they do in Japan where you see many discontinued models being offered on that place by the sea. One can therefore pick up relative bargains or used to as it appears. Are you fashion conscious? Would you be ready to trade up an old model for something new or do you keep a watch for love? ;)Let's talk pals Y'all be well now ZIN
This time we'll run it for a week so more members have a chance to enter. This time the prize is a WTF WIS Omega hat, generously donated by Idle Swede (Leo). The winner will receive this free and I'll even cover shipping within the CONUS just like last time. You MUST send your answers via PM to me (ulackfocus), and just for getting in on the fun you receive 3 entries in the drawing. Every question you answer correctly will earn you one extra entry.Okay, since Leo is our benefactor we'll make the questions about him. You can find the answer to all of these inquiries here at WTF inside of Leo's posts sometime within the last 6 weeks.1) What vintage gold Rolex does Leo own that Elvis Presley also owned one of?2) What Watch Talk Forum is nicknamed "the Basement"?3) What beer did Leo select to go with his dinner on Midsummer Night's Eve?The drawing will be held next Monday evening at 9:00 EST here in scenic & historic Philadelphia, home of the Arena Football League Champion Soul. I have a 1974 model of Patek Jumbo Gold Beta Quartz 18 K yellow (ref. no. 3597/002). I would like to know how many there are now and what can now be its price. I also have some pictures of the watch.
I used to buy all my watches with the most complications I could see, I tried to use them, but I realized that I don't use them at all (just for the testing of the watch and nothing more, some little times for measuring time laps, and some other to have fun watching the 1/10, or 1/20 cronographs spinning like mad )Now as I'm pointing on more expensive watches in the near future (I have enough 400~1000 USD watches ) I'm thinking that I can buy some more watches with the cost difference between "complicated" watches and "non complicated" watches...This because I'm not a pilot, race car driver, diver or so, I always looked just for the most complicated watch for their appeal, not for the functions themselvesOf course I'm talking about the same model with and without complications, of course if only complications are available, so it's the one I buy...What you think about? Maybe I'm just starting to become old
