IWC Pilot's Watch Chrono- a"real" IWC to the cognescenti?
I've been lingering in my decision to pull the trigger on a Bremont Alt-1P or -1Z. Looking at the IWC offering, it seems to be sporting a dial/hands combo that is more visually pleasing. Both are ETA watches. Should the IWC even be in contention here, given that it's not a manufacture movement? The idea of an in-house engine has been bothering me- in a good way, I guess- a lot lately.What say you?ETA- I've seen the brief write-up on IWC's working on ETA base calibers and I think I agree, more or less. But do you guys?
