Invicta 3328 wrist watches news:
A couple of weeks ago, I was browsing the new listings on eBay and I saw a watch that immediately caught my interest. Here is a picture:This was the only picture of the dial and bezel and there were only 2 other pictures of the band and caseback. I was pretty sure I knew what it was, and I immediately hit the "buy it now" before I could think about it. Then I waited for it to arrive, hoping I was right and hadn't wastey my money. When it did, I attempted to open the case and encountered resistance so I didn't even try again.I took it to my watch guy and he just confirmed for me today. It is a Hamilton Stanley (probably no surprise to some of you). The case is in amazing condition, the dial appears to be original, and (here is the best part) it contains its original 401 movement! The reason it was so difficult to open the case, he told me, is that it was full of sticky gook (he said the consistency of thick maple syrup). However, he also said while it will take some cleaning, he thinks
I went into a watchmakers today to get a bracelet resized. I had not been to this one before, and unfortunately it was a bit of a depressing experience. It started off when I asked if he resized bracelets, and he replied that he was a watchmaker. "Ummm, okaaaaay" I thought before he suddenly clicked and asked if it was a watch bracelet. Not a great start for me, a watchmaker not having that as a first thought. While he took them out the back to work on I had a look around the shop. Up on a shelf I saw many many books on watches and clocks, prices guides etc. But then as I looked around the store I realised that nearly all of the watches were lower end quartz offerings. Some were Seiko and Citizen, but even these were at the lower end of the Seiko chain. It seemed sad to me that someone who seemed to have this expertise and perhaps passion has ended up flogging cheap quartz watches. He did the work well enough I guess, but the whole experience did not fill me with confidence to take some
My RG44 finally came back from the APSC today. I felt so empty without it. It took longer than I thought it would. 8 weeks to be exact. However, it came back looking brand new! They also sent me this watch case. I thought I read somewhere that they stopped doing that, but was pleasantly surprised to get it. So excited to have it back on the wrist.

I have the older PO with the 2500c movement. Does the latest PO with the 8500 movement have applied numerals for the 12, 6 and 9 on the dial or is is printed?
