Jaeger LeCoultre Q8002520 wrist watches news:
I am a long time lurker finally getting around to becoming a bit active. I love visiting your forum, but boy does it paint all kinds of shades of envy when I see these great watches! Anyway, I am a new guy when it comes to watches as I have only recently received my Omega SMP as a gift this past year. Now I have the bug. I just got a De Ville, and I'm seriously eyeing the Speedy Triple Date being discussed in another thread. As for the requisite pic, I will get on that this weekend when i have a bit of time to dedicate to some poor photography.
I just inherited my grandfathers Oyster Perpetual Date. I'm trying to set the date on it. Is there a quick way to do it. If I advance it 24 hours, it will change. If I back the time up, the date just changes back to the previous day.any help is appreciated.
Here is nice one........Might be only 4 of these around???? That is what Rene's book says. Looks to be all original.
many of you may recall an incoming thread when i ordered this watch. i have very little to add to that but i thought an unboxing post with first impressions would be neat. i ordered it 12/27/09 and it arrived at the post office 1/21/10. it shipped from hong kong on the 16th. i think 5 days to go half way around the world is impressive. the condition of the package showed that it had a long journey.the "outer box"nothing fancy by any means but the package was well protected for the trip the "inner box".again nothing to get too excited about. very pedestrian but built like a vault for the content inside. if you are expecting a manual and warranty card forget it. if you can't figure out how to wind a watch and set the time by now this may not be the watch for you. i think getat will warranty the watch (within reason) for 90 days but i have not heard of many issues with these watches that can't be resolved by a local watchsmith for less than the cost of shipping to hong kong. it's what's i
I'm still on my journey for my fist panerai. Which one would be the best way to go!? 505 or 564!?Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
