Simple chronographs
I was wondering whether there are any simple chronographs in a reasonable price range (say less than 5000 US$ to have some more options but really I am thinking more in the 2000 US$ region). By simple chronograph I mean something like the Omega Chronostop with no subdials and the possibility to stop the second hand, I think Citizen and Seiko also made watches with the same function, or maybe one with just one subdial, perhaps with two hand in the subdial like the latest PP Nautilus (but not at that price!) but not more than that. Chronographs with two or three small dials are very common but these seem to have gone out of fashion some time ago but I would really like something like that as I like he chrono function but that usually all the small hands make the face too busy for my taste.GLF

Stingray Straps
GreetingsI was just wondering if anybody has a stingray strap, and what you think of it. I'm looking at buying a black one, but I have never seen one in the flesh.They seem to have an interesting texture.

Anyone miss the date function on Speedy Pro?
I've lurked for some time on Omega forums, I wonder what you Speedy owners think of the Speedy with its lack of date.I cud go with a Speedy model with auto movmnt and date, but to me, the Speedy Pro with black dial, manual movement hexalite crystal is the bedrock Speedy.But i use my date function on other watches at work and wud wonder if i'd regret not having the date after a while........thoughts?SV

Incoming.....PAM 81....first Pamerai
After much searching I finally hooked up with this watch, my first Panerai. It was purchased from seanlandaes a trusted seller on the forum.It's a Special Edition from 2000 and only 200 were made. Because of the age I had the watch shipped directly to the watchmaker I use for a complete service and I'm anxiously waiting for it to be finished.I've already bought some straps for it even though I really like the bracelet.I will post a wrist shot when I finally get the watch till then here you go....Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD

New Shoes - a Ferretti strap for my PAM005
Just received a Ferretti strap yesterday (bought from a fellow forum member - cryshann001, who was great to deal with ).For quite some time I was thinking of a Ferretti strap, but did not find it easy, also I did not try that hard. I contacted Ferretti directly, without success and was happy to see one for sales on the forum.here are the pictures:
