Jaeger LeCoultre Q1738471 wrist watches news:
Hi all, I've been lurking on the forum for a while now.I recently purchased a Hamilton Field Titanium to add to my Hamilton Collection. I love the look and feel of the watch. However, I'm somewhat disappointed with the premature wear I've noticed on the watch. If you see the pictures attached, you'll notice the shiny, almost polished spots on the bracelet where the links rub against each other. On any other watch I would not notice such wear because of the bracelet's finish. However, on this watch, it's very noticeable because of the gorgeous matte finish. Here's the sad partI've only worn this watch for THREE DAYS!! I bought it on Friday and wore it through the weekend. It's also showing wear on the clasp where my wrist sits on my desk. Is this normal? Does anyone else have a field titanium that is experiencing this type of premature wear? Any recommendations on what to do? If this is the wear I'm experiencing after three days, imagine what the watch will look like after t
Hi,My new seiko premier watch has a retrograde day indicator and date function. The date function (1-31) changes at exactly 12am but the day indicator (mon-sun) does not. Is this normal? Has anyone else noticed this with their watches with day and date functions?
Invicta Grand Diver 3046
This may seem like a ridiculous thread but I have a few questions about AP as I am completely new....1. Can someone tell me where to buy straps for a ceramic diver that are AP brand as well as non AP brand (reputable high quality)2. How does one change the straps on these watches? Also is there any difference in the movement between the Ceramic diver and the non ceramic diver (full stainless steel model) Thank you in advance for your help!
Hi guys. I've been thinking of making the step up to an AP for my next purchase. However, I'm a bit concerned about the steel bezel picking up dings and scratches. I've seen some preowned models for sale with pretty horrendous gashes in them. Question is what do you guys think? Are they like butter? I'd really appreciate some pics of daily worn roo's etc. there seems to be a lot of pics of brand new ones on the site so far and not many 'lived in' watches.Specifically, I'm thinking of getting either the new 41mm royal oak or a ROO black themes (on bracelet). Any opinions on which would be the best choice between these two? Thanks in advance!
