Jaeger LeCoultre 176.81.70 (Q1768170) wrist watches news:
So I bought an Oris BC4, with black case, black strap, non-chrono....pre-owned!I had an Oris BC3 Sportsman 42mm, which I sold on eBay. I really preferred the BC4.I bought the BC4 watch from a top store in Montreal that sells pre-owned watches (mostly super high end stuff like Hublot, Blancpain, Panerai, etc.). The pre-owned price was just too tempting. The watch is absolutely like brand new- with 2 years of Oris warranty remaining. Immaculate.I actually bought this piece as a low-cost alternative to a Bell & Ross- aviation style, casual, clean & simple dial, decent size.Oris website says case size is 42.7mm but every other website lists it as 43.5mm. It's not huge, but it is a really nice size. The quality of this piece is really something- the crown is the best feature with its beautifully machined contours. And its lock-in mechanism. The bracelet is also super nice with a superb folding clasp. My current collection includes:TAG Heuer Link quartzTAG Heuer Aquaracer Automati
Besides the Omega, could not identify the watches, but Giancarlo Gianini is back as Mathis. There's a shot at his villa with a big white dress watch with arabic numerals on a huge thick brown hand made leather band. I'm guessing IWC.Then later there's a more high tech style probably digital/analog hybrid in gray and black on Jeffrey Wright who's back as Felix, also on a huge thick brown hand made leather band. Some other shots of big watches on bodyguards wearing fatigues later in the movie.Without a dvd can't post any pix...yet....Not much focus on anyone doing anything with the watches, not using them to time anything or garotte anyone or anything else. In fact, there was a scene where Bond is in a dark cave-like area and I thought he really should have an H3 watch but no matter, he didn't check the time once.
I just love these clocks and the best is the latest version in an Offshore design. Group photo with my RO and Diver versions. I have a couple of other ones but they aren't to hand at the moment.
I received a lovely surprise this morning when the Fedex guy turned up at my office with a package from none other than TRF's own roach7 (Henry). I was stunned because Henry dropped off the package on Monday around 5pm local Dubai time and at 9.15am it was sitting in my hands. I have to say I am very impressed with Fedex's Priority service. What is it you ask? Well, take a look below. I have to say the Apollo 11 35th Anniversary Speedmaster looks even better in person than it does in the PR pictures. An absolute knock out of a watch. Copper
Hopefully more to come. These are models schedule to be released by Omega, the world's timekeeper.mage borrowed from TZ mod Damon who got the image from an industry insiderThis is a remake of a 1970 model nicknamed the PloProf (Plongeurs Professionnels).I don't have detail about the 09 version but the 70's version had a monocoque case milled from one complete piece of metal, a security button for the rotating bezel, and a square crown on the left sealed by a fluted compression nut. It was water resistant to 600 meters.
