Jaeger LeCoultre 175847V wrist watches news:
Welcome back to an original watches-dealer feature, "My First Grail Watch."? In this series, we ask prominent people about the first timepiece that they lusted after. ?Today, we're speaking with Jonathan Ward, the CEO of ICON Automotive. ?You might be wondering why we're talking with a car guy - but you'll find that he's quite the watch guy as well, even going so far as to pair watches to his automotive designs.watches-dealer (ABTW): Who are you, and what is your relationship to the watch industry?Jonathan Ward (JW): I am the lead designer and CEO of a niche automotive brand called ICON. At ICON, we revisit vintage transportation designs in a modern context. So in a nutshell, we take vintage vehicles and infuse them with modern engineering to breathe new life into them, as modern daily drivers. My relationship with the watch industry is purely as an outsider and a consumer, although I have been to the Basel show and aspire to be in the business one day (that said, the monopolistic natu
The American Watchmakers-Clockmakers Institute held its 2015 national convention in Kansas City last week and by all accounts it was a massive success. Today, the AWCI represents America's watchmakers and clockmakers through a range of education, certification and business services. In addit

When my husband and I got engaged, I bought him a Seamaster GMT while we were both stationed in Saudi Arabia. He also had a another Seamaster of the dressier variety, but we ended up selling it on eBay as he never wore it. It was the blue faced one. Before I got this Omega the other day, I had the ladies "Moon Watch" Speedmaster Reduced. However, the stupid thing was gaining about 1 minute every 2 days!! It was driving me crazy! I might not be really model savvy, but I have a Ladies Tag that we got for $800 that has only missed a beat when the battery gave out. So this watch gaining time was making me crazy! Plus I had waited 6 years for my Omega and then after losing our infant son on Thanksgiving, we did a little retail therapy and I got my Omega. So I carried it back and got me the Speedmaster d

Based on previous thread. For a casual everyday watch that will go with pretty much anything, I think Its come down to these four. All automatics, all saphire except for invicta and all will probably have leather strap.Taking all things into consideration, based on overall, from most to least prefered.1. 2. 3. 4.
