I've been wanting to take some macro shots of my newest watches. I dropped the batteries for the pentax K10d onto the charger yesterday, got the tripod ready and set up some "lighting".I owe some shots of the newest ones here, so here we goone of which I haven't even worn yet (Struhrling)...IngersollFull size image frontFull size image backStuhrling Tuskegee FlierFull size image frontFull size image backHamilton BeLOW Zero KhakiBonus: BuckleFull size image frontFull size image backHamilton Maestro JazzMaster ChronoFull size image frontFull size image back...and of course, it's not a party without a ..MONSTER!Full size image frontLoving all thew watches, though as mentioned, I have yet to wear the Stuhrling. I have an Invicta Pro Diver arrving tomrorow as well, so maybe during the week I'll grab shots of that one. Not overly pleased with the hsots themselves. Not sure the Sigma zoom/macro is really up to clean macro shots in lower light. Sounds like a reason to buy another lens to

I recently posted my current rotation, but due to a change I'm re-posting. I intend for this to remail the lineup for a while. I should probably get some better quality photos.RT 4.jpg001.jpgVictorinox brown 1.jpg009.jpg003.jpg
Hello everyone here at TRF! Earlier this week I took my 5960P out of the safe and put it on the wrist. My intent was just to wear it for a day or so and then put it back away for safekeeping. But a funny thing happened....the longer it was on my wrist, the more I truly loved wearing it.Sure, it's a little heavy, crazy expensive, and lacks a proper degree of water resistance, but the dimensions are perfect and it just feels so right on the wrist. So, is there any reason why it couldn't or shouldn't be a daily wear?
Hi All:My son and I recently added a Datejust ii 116334 to our little collection. Everything we love about this watch seems to be the exact attributes that many didn't appreciate about it-- Beefy look, blingy fluted bezel, fat markers, etc and as such the model was discontinued this year...Now we don't buy watches as investments but that said it is certainly nice if the ones we love and buy end up increasing in value. With that in mind, if you feel compelled would you chime in with your opinions on what might happened to the value of the DJ2 over time?My understanding is that not that many of these were made relative to other models and I am of the opinion that it is possible if not likely that since they are discontinued and Rolex is likely to stick with the less substantial styling attributes of (for instance) the DJ41 that the DJii could end up appreciating nicely over time.Anyone?Thx for playing.RR
