- This ia a great watch. It's very elegant and being eco drive you never need to change the batteries. I've had this watch for a couple of years now and the band is full of scratches but it's still a great looking watch.

Jaeger LeCoultre 1752140 wrist watches news:
First Place Prizewatches-dealer and Swiss watch maker Frederique Constant present you with a very special giveaway opportunity. This month you can win an all-expenses paid trip to Geneva, Switzerland to visit the Frederique Constant/Alpina manufacture. There you will sit with their watch makers and construct an in-house made Frederique Constant manufacture movement and watch all by yourself. And as a little souvenir, you'll get to keep your new self-made timepiece. On top of that, I will be going with you to share in the experience. There are also second and third-place prizes.Frederique Constant began producing their own in-house made movements a few years ago. Some of those movements are also in Alpina watches which are built under the same roof. The winner will have some choice as to what watch they'd like to assemble. This is a rare, once in a lifetime opportunity for most people and I am happy to give watches-dealer readers a chance to experience it.Prior experience is not necessa
Hey Omega Fans, When this watch first came out it killed me! I loved the smooth black dial with the red accents, and being a big Bond movie fan the 007 second hand and case back didn't bother me either. Unfortunately the price was a bit steep, but it kept nagging at me until I decided to flip a couple of my other watches to raise the funds for it.Well it didn't disappoint! IMO it looks just as good in real life as it did in the Omega beauty shots! It's the perfect size for my wrist, and it works with both casual and dress up attire. The new wider bracelet is fantastic! My only nitpick might be the lack of micro adjustments on the clasp, but it does come with two half links. Fortunately I was able to get a very comfortable fit, and I just love wearing it!
I have a friend at work from a former Soviet block country. After a recent visit home she returned with a pocket watch. It was rather dirty so I offered to clean it up. My skills are limited so I do not know how to remove the movement from the case. I would like to clean a few loose particles off the dial. Anyone have any thoughts? I removed the stem and case screws but the movement would not fall out. Here are a few pictures.
I owned the original SS Diver a few years ago but sold it because I found it too uncomfortable. The buckle and case back both had sharp edges that tended to dig into my wrist, plus the watch was fairly heavy.I love the look of the Ceramic Diver but would it wear any differently than my old Diver did?
I think there is only one way to cure it...
