I think there must be something in the water in Switzerland. How else could you explain the multitude of, well, non-traditional complications getting placed into mechanical watches lately? While I hadn't heard of Da Vindice previously, their latest model certainly made me take notice. They've taken something that I've only previously seen implemented in fully digital outdoors watches (ie, the Casio ProTrek line) and paired it with a, dare I say, whimsical tourbillon implementation.The function in question is a barometer and it is part of the 2014 Da Vindice Tourbillon Barometer timepiece. This is very similar in concept to the Breva Genie 01 watch from 2013 (hands-on here). How inaccurate does an Automatic watch have to get for it to be considered defective?
My Automatic watch is 6 seconds/day too fast. After about a week & half it's a full minute ahead.What is the line, how inaccurate does it have to get per week or per month for it to be considered defective?

What would YOU buy?
I have $3000-4000 to spend on my next watch and wondered what the members here would buy in that range. I'm asking because I haven't made up my mind. Right now I think it will either be a Ball Hydrocarbon Hunley or NEDU, but there's not an AD near me and I'd be purchasing them without ever seeing one in person. Legit check: AP rubber strap
Hi I am looking to buy some yellow rubber straps for the summer and got an offer of really good price. The strap looks genuine to me from the pics however when I looked at the wordings embossed at the back, there seems something strange -for one example there is no ¡°Swiss Made¡± on the strap. Pls may I have your help.Many thanks

Just got what i think is a great deal from an AD here in dallas! It's the 2802.52.37 railmaster 42.2mm with the brown strap. The msrp is around $2900.00...I was able to pick it up for $1695.00. I've been eyeing one of these for a while and just stumbled on a great deal!
