Swarovski Octea Abyssal Automatic Watch
For the last few years I have really admired the collection of watches from Swarovski. They offered nicely designed quartz watches with a lot of cool personality and prices that aren't totally outrageous. The only problem was that they were all ladies watchesbummer. My favorite model was the Octea Sport. Last year, I heard a rumor that Swarovski was going to release new men's watches - it turned out to be true.For 2012, Swarovski gets three new watch families, all for men. My favorite is the Octea Abyssal Automatic - which is essentially a male version of the Octea Sport that is a super-looking watch for women. The toughest thing that these watches have going for them is the Swarovksi swan logo. You see it on the dial, on the crown, and on the case back. I guess the logo can grow on you, but it isn't very masculine - not that it was ever designed to be.When Chanel first released the J12 they likely had the same issuewhere men simply could not take men's Chanel watches seriously. new Chinese divers have arrived (Modem Burner)....
I finally got my new divers. I am very pleased with the overall quality of these guys. The Deporte is powered by the ST16 movement and the 32 Degrees have the Miyota 8205. BTW, what is the difference between the 8215 and the 8205 anyway?The 32 Degrees divers are HUGE! I am more of a 35mm (dress) & 40-42mm (sporty) kind of guy so I'm not sure I'll be able to wear them. It just feels too big on my wrist and I'm afraid I won't be able to pull it off. They are 47mm wide (50mm including crown)!!!!! The Deporte is ~44mm wide but does not wear nearly as big. I think it is because it is sort of boxy and doesn't have long lugs.The lume on these divers are nice. The Deporte hands glow like they are radioactive but the printed dial fades within a few minutes. The 32 Degrees dial and hands are more evenly matched and glow very brightly.The crowns on the 32 degrees screw down without a hitch, like my Invicta 8926. But this Deporte has a bad first thread. It takes a few tries to get it going but

Need advice PP for a 6" wrist
Hello everyone,It's been about 3 months since my first serious watch purchase. A 114060 SubND! A great watch I might add. I thought it would be my first and last watch purchase for at least 5-10 years..But this isn't the case at all. I caught the bug and now want a PP. A PP Aquanaut is on my radar! The only issue I have is sizing. I have a 6 wrist and need some advice. Should I hunt for a 5165? Or does 5167 fit fine for those with chicken wrists? Does 2mm make that much of a difference?
