Omega Seamaster Planet Ocean 007 Skyfall Watch
With the latest James Bond film "Skyfall" hitting US theaters on November 9th, 2012 Omega has announced a new limited edition model to tie in with the 23rd installment in the franchise. This is distinct from the Omega 50th anniversary of James Bond 007 movies watch. The announcement of the new Seamaster Planet Ocean 600M "Skyfall" Limited Edition confirms that Daniel Craig will again wear a Seamaster PO as he reprises his role as 007. This is despite online rumors that Bond might have traded his famous diver for an Aqua Terra model. Planned for release in Autumn of this year, the Omega Skyfall Limited Edition is essentially a special version of the 42mm Planet Ocean we have showed you in the past and features 600 meters of water resistance, an Omega in-house 8507 Co-axial movement, and a matte black ceramic bezel with a chromium nitride dive scale. Joining the Planet Ocean Club
Hello All,After several months of research and debating between the Sub C and PO. I am extremely happy with my decision. This piece is beautiful and elegent. I would like to thank Fr. John for his advice and knowlegde regarding the PO LM LE. I was taking a chance prior to purchasing the PO because I had not been able to see in the flesh. After several calls to different Omega boutiques and AD's I was able to locate this time piece through a AD. I'm glad I jumped on the piece. A few hours later the Omega boutique in Houston notified me that they had no remaining inventory. Here are a few pictures my friends. Enjoy!

I had a local guy that serviced all of my vintage watches but he has gone out of business. Can anybody recommend somebody to service my treasured 105-012-66 Speedy?

5712 Water Resistance
I had my sights set on a 5711 as my next Patek, but I was considering a 5712 as well. I didn't give any thought to water resistance until I researched the 5712 in more detail, but the 60m rating has me back to the 5711. Obviously neither is a dive watch, but I don't want to worry about normal use, hand washing, or the occasional swim. Frankly it's one of the things that irritates me about my Speedy Pro and why I just default back to throwing on a Rolex more often than not. It will be the priciest watch I've bought, and worrying about damaging it would take a lot of the joy out of owning it. Has water resistance played into anyone else's decision process when picking their Nautilus model?
