Hello I just received as a gift a used Single Watch Winder by Wolf (Tourneau is stamped on the cover)no instructions so I am at a bit of a loss as this is my first winderalso where do I find the model number to even ask info? I found a 4 digit number stamped into the cover.0408...is this the model?thanksjjrolex

How do you adjust a incastar regulator on a Mido
This watch has a different type of regulator (incastar). The adjuster "wheel" has a + and - on it and it is suppose to lengthen and shorten the hair spring that is squeezed between a roller and the roller on the adjuster wheel. OKbut it doesn't. The very end of the hair spring looks like it is attached to a post but if that is so how can the hair spring move back and forth. Some help here would be great. New to AP
Been a rolex guy but considering my first AP. It would be the classic 15400 as I love the simplicity and uniqueness of it compared to other watch brands. Has been quite hard to source recently and sounds like very limited discounting compared to threads from last year. AP boutique in NYC seems to have them available but at full price. Is this as good as it gets nowadays? Days of discounting behind us? Do we think this would also lead to higher value retention going forward thus ok to purchase at current market? Appreciate input.

Greetings TRF,Here we have a beautiful 1976 (or thereabout) Omega Seamaster with the reference number ST 366.0848, something that was passed down to me by one of my mentors in Gotham. This thread is dedicated to him. If you flip this watch, you will find its bracelet and clasp......As well as its caseback with the classic Seamaster logo.Now once you pop it......Well...let's not even try to describe it. Rather, allow me to show it to you...Omega's caliber 1020, an automatic movement with day and date indicators! The hairspring...I always need to take a picture of it. Boy am I glad this one's shock protection device has an incabloc spring, it's much easier to work on those...It's more difficult to take pictures of an automatic watch's movement because of the rotor but I still managed to find a few good things to shoot.The logo on the rotor is very subtle, just a very fine little detail that makes it look nice! ...And some other pictures!
