Breitling M7339010 wrist watches news:
If you surf, you know that having an idea of what the tides are like is important. Tidal ebbs and wanes guide the size and position of the waves, and you don't want to waste your time wading in the sea. Tides variation occurs each day and is totally seasonal. In short, it is almost impossible to simply "predict" the tides. For that reason, it is a good idea to have some type of tide chart or indicator.Well, tidal watches have been around for a while, but the Lodown from Nixon is a particularly good one. It had 15 years of tidal information pre-programmed for 200 cities. The watches also have a full calendar, dual times, alarm stopwatch, countdown timer, and of course light. The best part is that all of these features, literally are accessible at "a glance." The sizable LCD screen features a daily tide chart where you are. You can easily tell what the day's tides are going to be like, and what the best time to hit the waves are. For novice surfers, that is usually at low tide, unless th
hi gang,i have had a pepsi gmt for most of my adult life. i'm now 40 or 42 in a couple of weeks, but to commemorate the second half of my adult life i purchased my last rolex.18k gmt c anniversary dial. i have always gravitated toward gmt's but the new ceramic ss black dials didn't do much for me but this green anniversary did. i couldn't afford it when they first came out but i could now and so i pulled the trigger. z serial, preowned but still under rolex warranty for another three months. full box and papers.cheers,cl
My Father is giving me a family heirloom that my Great Grandfather gave him. He is giving it to me for funding my two son's college education...woot! He had it appraised several years back and it came out to somewhere around 50K...though he doubts that it will fetch "near that much" in today's market. Photos are below. I dare not crack the caseback open with my limited knowledge and tools, therefore I don't have pics of the movement. It includes the original display box with Bailey, Banks & Biddle insignia inside, a little pocket of soft material, a gold/platinum chain and gold knife. Here are the few details I know regarding the watch: 'BAILEY, BANKS & BIDDLE' on watch face and caseback. 'Switzerland' at the bottom of the watch face. At the top of the winder where the chain connector is...is has 'PPC' stamped on it (Patek Philippe Company?). On the back of the caseback is engraved 'To XXXX XXXXXXX A Veteran of Veterans Semper Fidelis 1896-1940 From Sun Oil Company'.
In honor of our winning photos in the 2009 contest I thought it would be fitting to celebrate the vintage and the modern.
