Baume & Mercier has been turning to its extensive watch archives to inspire its recent men’s watch collections, such as the Clifton. Last year, the Swiss brand launched a new watch line for ladies that takes its aesthetic cues from past models. Hello!Yesterday I subscribed as a member to this forum. Reason for this is that I recently bought a Hamilton Electric Titan III.The story behind this is that I am a big fan of Elvis Presley. After wearing a very cheap 10 dollar casio for some 20 years my wife said "Why won't you start wearing a proper watch!". Instead of wearing those commercially watches that are aimed at the "fan" market I investigated in what types of watches Elvis wore. His first wrist watch that has been documentated was a Lord Elgin, but I cannot figure out what type it is! (Does anybody know?). Soon I became aware that the Hamilton Ventura is known as The Elvis Watch as he can be seen wearing his private watch in Blue Hawaii. Not long after that I found out it is impossible for me to obtain such a watch (...financially...). So I tried to find a compromis.
