I'm thinking about buying a Seiko Spirit, and though I've heard nothing but great things about it, I'd like to know a little more before I spend the cash. Does anyone know of any good reviews of the Seiko Spirit? Specifically, I'm looking to see how it compares with other watches in the price range ($350). From what I've seen so far, the Seiko Spirit is the best quality watch for that price (other watches go $400+), but I'd like to be sure. If you're experienced with the watch, please post your thoughts.
The Heuer Carrera was first introduced in 1964 and soon became a very popular model within the Heuer line up. Along with the Heuer¡¯s Monaco and Autavia, the Carrera was the first watch to house their Calibre 11, itself the first ever self winding chronograph. Amidst the quartz crisis the Carrera range disappeared from the catalogue in 1985. So called because it is,
....Ok , You know how lots of watches don't have numbers to mark the hours.......I just read a description of a Bulova watch and they called them "batons" ....and they were a simple applied straight gold line.....and I call some of them "arrow" cause they look like arrow heads.....Now I know that there are specific names for the different type of watch hands ,.......are there specific names for those hour markders ?
This will be my first Panerai. I saw a 310 that I really liked new at an AD. My understanding is that it's not made anymore. I want a 40mm, 42 maybe only if I can't find a 40 that I like. I want a black dial with a brown leather strap. No preference of Chrono or not. Any suggested ADs or trusted TRF sellers that you would recommend? Thanks,
