- Gift for my nine year old grandson. Favorite color is blue and he asked for an analog watch. He did not imagine it would glow in the dark or that it is a chronograph. The watch is terrific, especially for the price.

- Compared to his previous version, this watch seems cheaply made. The hands are loose and it is hard to set at the specific time you want.

- This was a gift for my sister who is always late. She loved it! It is so much prettier than the picture. The little crystal were the perfect size to make it sparkle without being too showy. I bought another for my sister-in-law.

Movado Movado 38011 wrist watches news:
TIMEIn 1753 Benjamin Banneker, a self-educated scientist, astronomer, inventor, writer and anti-slavery publicist built a clock entirely from wood. It was the first watch made in the USA.1 It was a pocket-watch and striking in appearance.1 Across the ocean in the heart of the Middle East, in northeast Arabia in the district of Ahsa, a man was born in that same year who had a remarkable sensitivity to time and its significance. His name was Shaykh Ahmad. He built, not a clock, but an ediface of theological interpretation in his role as a mujtahid. He laid the foundation for what later became the Shaykhi School of the Ithna-Ashariyyih sect of Shi¡¯ah Islam and, in time, for what became Babism which was transformed by sensible and insensible degrees into a world religion. -Ron Price with thanks to: 1¡°Church of the Living God,¡± an internet site, 29 December 2008.Time was marching on in thoseopening chapters of our modernhistory, enlightenment and thepost-enlightenment part of o
I am still trying to proceed with the resurection of my Mark II. Out of curiosity I contacted Omega for a service estimate and was directed to a web site regarding what they do and the cost. What they do:.omegawatches/customer...enance-serviceThe costs schedule: .sguscustomerservice/I was pretty much amazed by the cost of maintaining older watches. Currently I'm getting ready to ship the watch over to MY for full service. I was also wondering how other insured their watches when shipped to my for servicing and conditioning. Any input would be useful. Thanks!!!
I have a few and will post one every few days. It would be interesting to hear as much info you have on the watch; Ref #, movement cal, Dial variations and any provenance you may have on the watch. This first watch was one of my last acquired, a classic pie pan bought to be a daily wear watch; ref # 2852-3 SC cal 505 (see below) in 14k capped SS case. Original cross hair dial that meets the MOY test (see below) with arabic numerals at 12/3/6/9 and a nice gentle patina. The watch has moderate wear on the 14k observatory medallion on the case back Serial # 16,113,xxx which dates the watch to circa 1958. This watch is currently running +8 sec per day. This watch has some tarnishing / deterioration of the gold capping on the inner edges of the lugs as well as wear on the case from usage. As such, I was able to buy it at a very reasonable price for use as an all original, daily wear connie pie pan in my collection. The watch is wearing an Omega chocolate brown croc strap. The watch was acqui
So for anyone who saw my original thread about a month ago, the day of gifting the watch arrived.https://.rolexforums/showthread.php?t=589801I will say that based on some of the comments from the last thread I did start to wonder if I'd done something wrong, screwed up, etc. and did second guess myself. Turns out I should trust my gut. She absolutely loves it! (Then again who wouldn't love a surprise Rolex. ) The bluesy was a gift for myself based on a career milestone and to scratch an itch I was having after I bought my DJ41. Will add a pic of them together here in a second. signedTwo really happy rolex owners!
