- I got the watch and it was OK. I found that there were stones missing on the top of the watch face and you really had to look carefully to notice that. The length of the watch was also a little bit long.

Audemars Piguet 25977ST.OO.1205ST.01 wrist watches news:
Nice watch, but you can't buy it. No one can. Vacheron Constantin paid a lot of money to make this watch, and they are keeping it for themselves. I guess they enjoy it too much to part with it? Maybe. More likely, the special March Chagall ceiling watch will be on permanent exhibition, traveling around to show off VC's stuff. For the last few years, since 2007, Vacheron Constantin has held a partnership with the l'Opera de Paris (Paris Opera House), and is here making an additional claim on that relationship by reproducing the famous Marc Chagall ceiling from the opera house on a watch dial.I first wrote about this piece here where I was quickly able to decipher what Vacheron Constantin was up to. It was easy to tell that VC wanted to reproduce the ceiling on a watch dial in enamel. You have to realize that the 200-meter-wide ceiling needed to be hand replicated on a 31mm wide watch dial. The ceiling is quite the epitome of Chagall's style and was completed in 1964. It took Swiss ename
Do you see any changes coming to the Explorer II this year or anytime soon? Bigger (diameter), rotating bezel, thicker etc...?Thanks.
i have a black dial shark chrono. currently on black shark skin 20-18mm deployment. somehow, the taper doesn't suit it as the watch is quite chuncky for the era. i want to get a 20mm deployment and use a non-tapered strap. preferably shark skin too. does anyone already have this combination?
Bad news.. Wife has ruled in favor of selling the Sub LV-C and the IWC ASAP.....Good news, during a weekend trip to NYC this past weekend. My wife did allow window shopping in Cellini at the Waldorf to turn into the purchase of an incredibly beautiful and iconic RO 15400 with the silver dial.As my Birthday approached I was thinking about a rest of my lifetime watch This one checks all the boxes in terms of design, build quality and horological tradition. To say I love it is as understated as the watch itself.I know, you want pictures... Have not had time to attempt to upload them. Soon.....
Greetings TRF,It is with a lot of pride and joy that I tell you that I got my vintage Audemars Piguet back from my watchmaker tonight. When I bought it I was very happy until I realized that it had a small problem......Indeed, with its dial on top the balance wheel would slow down and eventually stop, thus making the watch impossible to wear for a full day. Normally I would have worked on it myself, I did service my Jaeger-Lecoultre and quite a few other watches of mine, however, after thinking about it I thought that it would be better to ask an experience watchmaker with a good reputation to service such a thin movement. Don't get me wrong, I would have loved to do it myself and I do need to build up confidence but with such a caliber I figured it would be better to be safe than sorry...Now my pictures aren't very good as they're dark but believe me, the movement is much cleaner than it was when I got it (I was going to have it cleaned anyway but this small balance wheel problem made
