Bvlgari BZ22BSS/12.M wrist watches news:
Hi AllIn general discussion I started a thread just showing some old fobwatches in terrible condition that my parents came across stuffed in the back of some drawers when clearing out my uncles old apartment .A nicer find was this old Geneve, given to him in 1974 for 20 years service as a supervisor at the Heinz Factory in Lancashire, England. My parents, knowing my fondness for all things horological, have passed it on to me, and I'm trying to figure out if it is worth getting refurbished versus it's value when done. My father took it to a jeweller before passing it on to me, and was told it was worth a bit as it was a solid gold model. However, I can't find any hallmarks or serial numbers so have no idea what carat it might be if it is solid gold rather than gold plated! I'm not too worried about it's authenticity - I can't see Heinz passing out fakes to employees! I would like to remove the rear case to see if there is any more useful information in there, but can't work out how
I received my new Hot Babe, my new Seamaster Bond Co-Axial. I already have a Hot Babe, my 'Classic' Seamaster Bond. So which one is hotter?Yes, I know, I complained about the futility of the Co-Ax on an ETA movement, but I still ended up buying one. So sue me .The Co-Ax Bond is gorgeous. The applied markers (not painted in), the longer hands, the red inscription on the dial, all contribute to add a further touch of class to this classic watch.I'm keeping the 'classic' one too, I rediscovered I'm too much in love with it. So I'm keeping my two hot babes! .
3 weeks ...or 21 days to go !!!!The count-down has started !! Please spread the word on other watch brand forums you participate in.
Had to come to my old home town and favorite city in the world for business today. I was right next to Ground Zero. Very sad memories but nice to see the buildings rising up in memory of those who lost their lives. Couldn't go to the AP boutique but at least stopped by one of my favorite restaurants, the Peking Duckhouse. Wish I could've stayed the night!!! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk. Watches are the new currency!
This is why!
