Girard Perregaux Girard Perregaux 33664 wrist watches news:
I start with a Submariner date, N serial made in 1991. Put amaxi dial and the fat minute hand. Now I've just put a GMTIIc crystal with anti reflective cyclop.Wow, what a great upgrade. Now it's really easy to see the date.Jocke
Last time I looked at Rolex a few weeks or so ago, the 2011 Basel watches were still separated from the rest of the collection. Today the 2011 Basel watches are rolled into the collection. They are getting ready for later this week No 2012 teaser yet - maybe Monday
Hello,I haven't posted for awhile, but this was too good to pass up. I have the itch for a gold Rolex to accompany my S/P YM and Sub-No Date. I have been debating between the Two-Tone Daytona, Two-Tone Sub, white dialed datejust with leather band or gold white dial Daytona with leather band. I strolled into my normal dealer the other day just to try Rolexes on to get a feel for which I liked best, had a good time and left. Then, I got a wild hair to go to the other AD in town that I don't normally patronize to see if they had anything different. With great surprise, I got a bit distracted from the gold watches by not one but two (1 white and 1 black) stainless Daytona's quietly sitting in the case and not on a waiting list. Needless to say they monopolized the rest of the visit to that store. Alas, I am just not in a position to drop that kind of money right now( However, I did get that "have to have this watch now feeling" which has just now passed). It was an absoute pleasure trying one
Hi,I am new to this, but I am looking to buy a decent Seamaster, Constellation or something of that ilk. I'm looking for a reasonably clean Omega I can keep for life and I dont mind a watch that's needs some tlc.EBay is an obvious source but I'm a little concerned I will end up with a replica. There also appears to be huge variation in prices for somewhat similar watches (makes me think everyone knows something I dont). Anyhow, perhaps someone can recommend some other sources for used older Omegas. Thanks in advance and I promise to post photo once I buy.Patrm
Not as bad as the title.Newbie looking at buying a first Panerai watch. The one I am looking at is a Luminor, am I correct in thinking all luminor models have the crown lock? I believe from what I have read this aids water resistance? There are a confusion of model types, but the one I am after will just have second hand and date. To get back to the thread I have a simple Seiko 5 at the moment I wear most of the time. I am after a 'better' watch I can wear for work with an enhanced presence, but not over the top.The qualities I am after is to wear the watch basically 24 / 7 , in the sea / pool on holiday, and golf / low energy sports etc. Would the Panerai live like this? Not really bothered about picking up the odd scratch, and also planning to have it on a stainless bracelet for water purposes. Any advice before making the purchase would be appreciated.Toby.
