- I purchased this item for a little boy that I visit in foster care and he loved it! The chain is very sturdy and it looks like a watch you could purchase at a high dollar store.

Jaeger LeCoultre 1608420 wrist watches news:
I don't know if it's his only watch, but I just watched the Super Chef Challenge tonight (it was amazing, I wish I could taste such culinary greatness at some point in my life) and noticed that the entire time (through picking vegetables from the garden to cooking up all the food), Iron Chef Bobby Flay was wearing a Rolex of some sort. I'd think it was a Datejust, but was unsure whether it was a Day-Date. Did anyone else watch it and/or see him with it elsewhere and know?
Got this new chronograph. Its by Poljot (Russia). Apparently they made 4000 of these for the 1992 Olympics in Barcelona. Each of them has a serial # as well. Manual watch.Any further information on this model is welcome. Some pics below...
Well folks, the inevitable is about to happen. The wife likes my AP and wants one....so....happy wife happy life. She tried a few on yesterday but we both agreed that the 33mm range looked really good on her vs. the 37mm. She wasn't too thrilled with the diamond bezel but it was the best available model on display.I recommended her we check out the 67620ST which is a newer Quartz model. Any thoughts? It checks all the boxes for her including a rubber strap.Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
I was in the Omega boutique last week and got a chance to handle the new Planet Ocean GMT. It was a very beautiful watch in person, waaaay better than the pictures. I didn't expect to see it but the orange on the bezel caught my eye so I asked to hold it. I must say the orange bezel looks a lot better in person and the orange hand is painted the same as the orange material of the orange numbers of the POs, so it's very brilliant and beautiful. The bezel turns both ways and the black date wheel which looks incredibly odd and stands out in close up pictures of the dial looks just fine. It has a look as to sort of simulate that the white numbers kind of pop out from a shaded background. It didn't bother me at all the way it does in internet photos. Now that Basel is history we see that it's available in all the normal colors also, this watch will be pretty hot also. The biggest turn off for me is the thickness, still too thick. If it were my only big watch then I wouldn't mind, but having to
Good afternoon.I am unsure where to post this, so I shall post it here and apologise in advance if it¡¯s either in the wrong section or deemed inappropriate. One of my best friends (UK guy currently based in Switzerland) has just taken delivery of a SD43 and isn¡¯t all that impressed with it (he is obviously a Philistine). He is subsequently looking to sell it; I can vouch for him and will happily act as a conduit for anyone wishing to make contact with him.I have obviously told him to join TRF too.Colin.
