Hello, new guy here and enjoying this forum.I have several of the ivorine boxes and just picked up this paper covered box.I'm looking for any info as to the date and purpose of this. War years was mentioned but I'm pretty sure there was no civilian production then. Anyone familiar with this box?

FH Swiss watch exports report Growth remains strong August 04, 2008 In line with results in previous months, watch exports registered growth of 13.4% in June, totalling 1.6 billion francs. This considerable increase was achieved despite a very unfavourable base effect. In the first half of the year, Swiss watch manufacturers exported the equivalent of 8.3 billion francs, or 14.9% more than in January-June 2007. The annualised variation was above 15% for the eighth consecutive month at +15.8%. Growth was steady in the first months of the year, with the exception of March, the victim of an unfavourable base effect and three fewer working days. However the variation of the moving average over twelve months has not fallen from peak levels. Asia has become the engine of growth, while more traditional markets have experienced a slowdown. Hi AllThis is my first post on the forum, and I'm looking for help!I want to buy a good chronograph for up to ¡ê5kThis is to supplement my current collection which isBlancpain 50 fathoms, not the current sapphire crystral bezel, but the previous raised numeral stainless steel design. Black face, closed back, date at 4:30 only complication. Currently on a hirsh faux carbon fibre strap as I got fed up with the Blancpain deployment rubber straps deteriorating quickly.Zenith Elite Gold watch with Sunburst Gold dial, display back, second hand in subdial at 6, date at 3. On brown alligator strapCorum Gold watch, manual movement. Don't really know the model, but it has a curved concave back for comfort on the wrist, and an unusual varied depth to the watch face, enabling this to remain completely flat. Hi all I recently bought my first mechanical watch. I chose the Planet Ocean Professional 42. Yesterday i noticed that, when I gently shake my watch, i can hear the rotor move inside. Is that normal?? It does not sound like long lasting finely tuned mechanics.
