Philip Stein 6-SCDCH-LCH wrist watches news:
Have I just gotten used to modern sized watches?2012-11-30 10.37.20.jpg
Was flipping channels today and stopped on the ShopNBC one. They were hawking the Swiss Legend Men's Commander Chronograph W/Rubber Strap Watch. Since I am going to Texas for a watch buy and some deep sea fishing the end of this month I said what the heck. Got it for fishing so if I lose it, no real loss.Like I said, just for fun. It will be here by the 19th.
Hello everyone,I'm the proud owner of a 39mm GMT, and I'd like to remove the pip from the bezel. My jeweler believes doing this would leave a hole, though I'm not sure if it's a part of the bezel or attached. So, what I'm asking is if anyone has any experience with this, and if it's possible without damaging the watch? Also, while I'm at it, does anyone have any recommendations for a new bracelet? I'd prefer a jubilee style. Thanks!
Super clear Patek dial, Neptune 5085/1A from 1998-2005.240 movement, steel and a beauty. DoesnÖÉ photograph well but in the flesh is stunning and an absolute bargain in the used market.
I know that around 2011, Rolex changed the dial on the 116618 from a powder blue dial (smurf) to the current blue sunburst dial. Does anyone know if the ceramic bezel also slightly changed color on the post 2011 models or is the ceramic bezel color the same as the previous ones from 2011 and before? I am thinking of swapping out the blue sunburst dial for an OEM blue diamond dial on my 2017 116618 and wondered if the blue diamond dial would match the newer ceramic bezel like the older models did. Thanks
