Hi all,First of all I'd like to say this is a great site.Useful information and great pictures.I recently got my first "real" watch and I think it's great.I have included some pics.I also have a question.I have looked around on the net about letting the chronograph running.There seem to be a lot of different opinions on this and because this is a actual Hamilton forum I'd like to know what you guys think.Does the extra wear shorten the life of the watch?Thanks for any feedback,Lorel

DayDate at the Beach?
Yes, I know itĄŻs a Rolex and it can be worn anywhere and I typically keep it on no matter what IĄŻm doing...Now that thatĄŻs out of the way, IĄŻll ask -Has anyone worn their gold DD or gold anything to the beach? Family vacation coming up and IĄŻve grown so used to this DD40 on my wrist I just donĄŻt feel like wearing my Sub or anything else.Anyone wear their DD to the beach? The older satin finished DD definitely held the scratches better than these polished cases. IĄŻm obviously worried about scratching it up badly, but at the same time, a gold Sub or GMT would scratch just the same.Thoughts?Anyone have any pics of a DD40 with some war wounds?
