Jaeger LeCoultre 250.84.10 wrist watches news:
I always hear about the Seiko Monsters:eek:, see Monster signature avatars all over this board. I can't take it anymore! I have to break down and get one. But which one should I get the Black or the Orange?
my brown khaki Chrono on a custom strap by a friend of mine. Picked it up at a watch meet, even though it might not match at all. Its been a great comfortable combo. :)Thanks for viewing .. Comments welcomeAnjan
Thinking about doing the 114060 and 116710BLNR combo...what y'all think?!I actually like the GMT better. Yeah, I know...I'm crazy, weird, and yeah I'm serious. I'm currently living overseas and all my friends and family are in the states, and I travel moderately, so the GMT is a no brainer. I do like the 116710LN, but as a daily wear...I don't like the polished center. Plus, I want to wear it to work. Not saying I don't like the sub, but it's the next best thing...in my eyes. If the 116710LN was in SS, I would get that one. So, what you think about the 114060 and 116710BLNR combo?
I can't seem to find the information anywhere. Do they make a half link in oyster bracelet for a ladies datejust 26mm. Apparently 2 link removed is too tight and 1 link removed is too loose.
I recently posted about my problem with my white metal DD40, which is even now only three weeks old. The change-over at midnight wasn't changing over effectively. Sometimes it switched half an hour late, sometimes more than an hour. And this was on the days when I was actually awake at such ungodly hours. The watch went back to the new UK HQ and service centre in Kent, built on an old wartime airfield and looking like something out of a James Bond film; all brooding smoked glass and concealed doors. Anyway, the problem was apparently that the change-over gears were not properly lubricated. This on a new watch...so even Rolex can get it wrong at times. Can't wait to get it back next week.
