This one is on his way home ,so I thought I'd post a few pics( still working on the quality) This is an Elgin Doctors watch . It is one of the few center seconds pocket watches made in the US . It came to me as shown and missing the driving wheel for the second hand and with several (3) broken jewels .There are no replacement parts for this watch ,so I made themAttachment 19121Image106.jpgAfter a little math and ratio calulations , I found a wheel of the right tooth count and general diameter. I was in the Rolex AD this morning and he stated that rolex are indeed slowing down SS production and slightly increasing PM production. He thought by around 40% less SS and ¡®a few¡¯ more PM models. He has no reason to lie to me and he seemed to fully believe what he was told by his Rolex Rep.
