Sponsored PostUlysse Nardin has recently produced a beautiful corporate movie displaying the people and methods behind the production of watches at their facilities in Switzerland. We've broken down those movies into several parts which will be posted weekly for you to watch. Please enjoy part 6 of the series on how Ulysse Nardin makes watches. As we publish the movies you'll be able to see all of them on the Ulysse Nardin Manufacture Movie page here. For more information visit Ulysse Nardin's website.
If Air-King dials still come with just baton hour markers and not numerals at 3,6, and 9? I'm looking for this configuration (blue dial/batons, no numerals). It appears that the newer models only come with the numerals but I wanted to confirm with the expertsart-product1.jpg
Hello everyone,I am about to buy a new watch and my two top candidates are the following1. Seiko Alpinist SARB017 RB017.html2. Orient Star WZ0131FDThey are both Japan only models. The problem is that i like them both, actually I like the Orient a bit more, but I don't know anything about the Orient's movement besides the fact that it is a 21 jewel Japan made movement that beats at 21600 bph! I don't know if it is hackable or if I can hand wind it! Also I don't know if it has a screwing crown. As for the Seiko I know everything there is to know so I don't have any questions there. So my questions to you are, does anyone know something more about the Orient's movement and crown?Which one do you think has the better movement?Which one do you think is the best watch overal? If you were in my place which one would you choose? Thanks in advance, greetings to all from Greece,Dimitris.
While I know that we have a separate Patek Philippe forum, I would like to inviteall members of General Forum to check out the new individual Patek Philippe models for 2009 that were released today at Baselworld....Please visit:ThePatekPhilippeForum......
Simple question...26320OR (chrono on a strap) or 15400OR (plain-jane on bracelet)?
