Jaeger LeCoultre 270.880.544 wrist watches news:
Funny isn't it?I love my Rolex timepieces modern but I prefer my Omega's vintage..Just look at those disigns from decades ago...For example one of my vintage Omega Geneve's..Almost art if you ask me..What I also love about these oldies are the manufacterer movements inside, simple and tough movementsYou can't go wrong with a vintage Omega IMHO..
long time lurker here! Finally decided to break over and get an account. I have a quick question today. I am interested in purchasing a Cartier Santos 100 XL from a work colleague who purchased the watch on ebay some time ago and has never worn it as it has been sitting in his collection box *insert envy here*. The watch is more or less flawless (see photos) and he even let me take it for a few days to wear and see how I like it. He doesn't have any papers as it was an ebay purchase and was never concerned enough to have it fully checked for authenticity by Cartier as we are located a couple hundred miles from the closest one and he pulled the back off to inspect the movement himself and was satisfied. The original seller did note that he had replaced the straps with non-OEM leather straps since apparently the buckle sort of "marries" to the strap. I took the watch to a jeweler who checked it out and upon opening the back case he was at first skeptical because a couple of the screws we
Always loved the look of the Hamilton Ventura....never could bring myself to commit to the money and patience to acquire an original electric version......so....While it goes against my rule of "real watches don't have batteries," I'm proud to wear this cool quartz remake of a classic!Even love the smaller "vintage" size. Works well on my spindly wrist. Thanks for letting me share!
So, I was watching an auction that just ended on ebay...Is $287 US a little on the high side, or did these start appreciating very rapidly over the last couple of year.261708928443 was the auction number.
Thinking of getting a piece for my wife. Can seem to find any wrist shots on Google. Anyone care to share some? Thanks.
