- Love the watchband! It doubles a a bracelet if you don't have a watch for it. I just wish I could have picked the color. I received the blue and red one and it is wonderful.

The regulator clock gained traction in late seventeenth century watchmaking, before the time of radio-controlled master clocks. Their main purpose was to provide a central point of reference for clock and watch makers in a workshop. With separate dials for hours, minutes, and seconds, the clocks provided an easy way to get a precise read on the time when setting other devices. Regulator wristwatches, however elegant and interesting, can sometimes suffer from illegibility due to small dials and difficult layouts. However, with the Hamilton Jazzmaster Regulator, a traditional vertical layout is swapped for a more asymmetric design, resulting in an unexpectedly modern take on this old relic, and it's available for a reasonable price. 2 OF 7 The large dial, required for the dial layout, contributes to greater visual heft relative to a moderately sized 42mm case. 3 OF 7 The first thing you’ll notice about the Hamilton Jazzmaster Regulator is its size. Hi;This is my first posting.I've decided to purchase an Omega Flightmaster Cal. 911 when a decent watch becomes available.I realise cost will depend on condition, but I'm curious to hear thoughts on restored watches versus those in original condition.I'd like to buy something in as good condition as possible, and both restored or original condition (if serviced correctly) could fit the bill. What would make the better purchase, both in terms of value and wear.Regards.
I've recently been quite enamored with the Hamilton H71556737 Khaki 42mm (Model #H71556737) and while searching the web I was having difficulty finding it and then I started finding sites that said"THIS MODEL HAS EITHER BEEN RETIRED BY THE MANUFACTURER OR IS UNAVAILABLE"I was going to post asking any owners to sound off as to whether or not they liked it or not but after doing a search of the WTF I didn't see many posts about it. Come to think of it, I don't remember seeing too many examples on the daily Wrist Checks either. Which makes me think it wasn't a very popular model and maybe that's why it's being discontinued. Or is it?To make a long story longer.does anyone own this watch? Would you recommend it? Is it well made? Is it accurate? Does it feel good on your wrist? Is it sturdy or is just not a very good watch?I've always loved Hamiltons and I'd love to hear some Pros and Cons before I take the time to go check one out at an AD.Thanks :-)
As you can guess, I'm considering this one. I read how the dial is chameleon like and shimmers, etc. Basically, a lot of praise of this dial.Well, I saw a 5164 yesterday as I'm getting ready to pull the trigger on a 5167; however, I didn't find the dial all that chameleon or shimmery. It seem very matte and muted to me.Case finish, amazing.Movement, amazing.Hand size, PERFECT.dial, ok.This is not mean to be a bash to the aquanaut, but more of a what am I missing here? You guys are smart guys. Was the lighting bad or something? Does it change with the light in the day? My LVc changes with a turn, I didn't experience that with the 5164. Maybe the dial has more going on with the 5164 complication that takes away from the dial simplicity and shimmer. Thoughts?
