Jaeger LeCoultre Jaeger LeCoultre 40418 wrist watches news:
I give you, the targeting computer from the USS North Carolina Battleship BB-55 circa WWII. And of course my new2me GMT II. My first vacation in 11 years. My first vacation with my family. I'll spare you the family photos, but I have to admit I like them better than this one!
Hey All,I have recently returned from a Caribbean cruise and am pleased to say I am the proud owner of a new omega seamaster (2220.80.00).I purchased the watch from Jai's Jewellers in Turks and Caicos (an Official omega and rolex AD).I got the watch brand new for $2695 which I thought was an excellent deal so decided to go for it.I have received the instruction manual, leather card holder and red box, co-axial plastic tags, grey cloth, sales receipt, completed red warranty card and red pictogram card.I have read there is supposed to be a third red card - the chronometer one.Is this a big deal that I didn't get mine? If so should I contact Jai's and let them know? Thanks!
In the expert and informed opinion of this esteemed forum which movement would be more desirable The El Primero automatic chrono or the Hand Wound ? Both have 31 jewels and both have 36,000vbh I'm leaning towards the auto but the HW maybe be a bit more affordable HELP!!!
Contemplating on pulling a trigger on one. Is it worth the price for a royal oak LE or is the Patek 5711 a better buy? Thanks guys
I purchased an Omega Planet Ocean here on the forum a couple of years ago. The person I bought the watch from bought it from Jomashop. Last week the watch just stopped keeping time. I took the watch to my local Omega Dealer and the watch was mailed to Omega with a copy of the warranty card for service. I received a call from the Dealer today and they said that since I bought the watch second hand that the warranty does not transfer. The watch is a ceramic bezel and has not even been out for 4 years which is the length of the warranty. My question: Is it correct that the warranty does not transfer? Is the problem that the watch was purchased from Jomashop which is a grey market dealer? I'm a little frustrated that I'm now going to have a $650.00 bill to service a watch that is less than 4 years old. Thanks for any information.
