Jaeger LeCoultre 701.86.7p wrist watches news:
The Sub LV has been my grail watch ever since it was first introduced. I've been a Submariner fan since the mid 80's when I first got certified for diving. Somewhere along the line the Sub sort of fell off my radar until Rolex introduced the LV and then it was love all over again. I still like the clean look of the 14060m dial without the date better, but not enough to pull me away from the green. My ideal would be an LV no date, but until that happens I'll be quite happy with this one. I didn't foresee any way that I'd get one anytime soon, but my situation changed a bit (no, I didn't win the lottery) and it worked out to get it now. Just doing my part to stimulate the economy.
I just got a new arrival this weekend. My Tag Aquaracer 500M Diver. It's my first really nice watch, but not my last. I've got the sickness!!
I have an Omega 2512.30 that needed a new crown and stem. I ordered from Otto Frei and the stem is not cut to the correct length. Any one know what the length of the stem should be, the old stem no longer exists. Other times I have gotten replacement stems they were the correct length. Anyone ever cut down a stem to fit and can tell me how to measure for the correct length. Thanks in advance for any help.ThanksJohn
I always have loved this watch. Just curious, with owners of either, which version do you find more attractive or stunning. I am not taking price into consideration...just the look of the TT model vs yg model. There r certain models that look better in tt at least for me...the ym2 with tt (ss and rg) looks stunning and so does the tt bluesy...but that yg bluesy also is stunning!
Has anyone serviced their tritium dial Rolex and come back with new Chromalight lume?I know many are opposed to this as they prefer the patina look. Just curious to see if it's been done. I for one wouldn't mind picking up an older 16570 polar ( either Swiss Made or Swiss T<25) but would like to at least see it in the dark if it was a tritium dial.Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
