Tag Heuer WAF1110.FT8009 wrist watches news:
The Japanese seem hell bent on devising new ways of telling the time. Countless experimental watches both novel and down right silly have been released over the years with an alternative to the traditional dial or digital approach to telling the time. Lots of them have you counting dots or lines, and doing some formula in your head to tell the time. I admit that many of them have looked pretty cool, I'd nay choose them as a device for chronometric measurement. The two biggest purveyors of such novelty watches are Tokyo Flash and Tokyo Street. I doubt that the name similarity is a coincidence, but they are separate companies as far as I can tell. While most of these watches succeed in creating visual interest, few are particularly useful in my humble opinion. Once in a while they come out with something that I might actually use, and the Tokyo Street LEC Scope watch is one of them.Looking at the watch you can see two perpendicular lines that intersect on a X/Y axis. The point of their in
I have been looking for a white dial zenith for quite some time now.Recently I found one only about 45min from where I live. The watch is being sold by a former AD who has kept the watch in a safe. The watch is a "U" series and is absolutely new and unworn! The watch has all accessories, both boxes (wooden box) tags and all papers work stamped from his previous AD. They allowed me to remove the bracelet and check serial numbers and all is in order.Watch has never been serviced but appears to work and function well.I would appreciate any feedback on what a watch like this should sell for.I will not tell you what his offer was to prevent any bias!!Thank you in advance for any input,Wings
Hi All,I was recently lent a Stainless Steel SeaWolf by my local AD for a review, which I posted here a little while ago. After my review I really, really wanted one. However, when I spoke to my local AD he said he had a BNIB Ti SeaWolf that he could sell me and then would give me my full money back when I upgraded to the SS SeaWolf. A no-brainer really. However, I'm not sure I will want to sell this Ti SeaWolf. I love it. It truly is the definitive, utilitarian, designed-for-a-purpose tool watch. I'm not sure I could find another NOS Ti SeaWolf at an ADs if I were to change my mind. Here are a few quick and dirty pics I taken at work. I will post better pics and a mini-review shortly.[/quote]
I think for Christmas this year I'm going to give my son's my two 7750 based chronos.I'll have them polished before hand, but the sad fact is I just cant read them too well anymore and those little sub dials and such. I hope to show them how to poperly operate and use them. I'm worried thought they won't wear them much.My oldest has two nicer watches but will only wear them for certian occasions which is good as long as these will take the place of those. My youngest I think will wear his, but not to school.I guess I'm wondering if this is the wrong or right thing to do?They might end up just collecting dust because they may be too much for them. It's just an idea I'm kicking around...not going to sell them but figured why let them languish in the safe. Latley I'm having to force myself to wear anything other than a G-Shock.I am however, eyeing Breitlings again. Here's what I was going to give them:The Hammy for my youngest because he's smaller and the strap will fit him and the Longi
So I just purchased another speedy but this one is for my father for his 67th birthday...I want to size the bracelet and short of going to the Omega ad or my watchmaker I'd like to just do it myself....the small screwdriver said I have that works for my Rolex watches doesn't fit these damn tiny little screws for the speed master bracelet what is the exact screwdriver that Omega would use or that my watchmaker would use?
