Jaeger-LeCoultre Vintage Chronograph

Hey everyone, i'm just starting on a project for a very good buddy of mine, and since i thought this up a couple of months ago, i wanted to make it, and now i got a chance, finally :) There is nothing really set in stone yet, we are figuring out what would be the best movement for this watch (we want off center seconds but not sure about a date complication), and the dial finish is still in talking too. However, we are very sure about the case. Anyway, one of the options for the movement (besides 6498, 2895 and peseux 7046) is an AS 1130, which i fell in love with some time ago. I have a bunch of these movements here, most of them were 'for parts or repair' , so i took them apart and was able to put together three working pieces with antishock. They are all Frankensteins that will need refurbishing, new finishes and plating and even though i'm not sure i will use it in this watch, i started the work on one of them today. I'm thinking even if we don't use it, i can use it elsewhere. And

Rolex to omega
Hi Gents,I have been debating on seling my Rolex datejust to purchase two pre owned omega watches the PO 2500 and Speedy. Your thoughts ??

Omega Speedmaster Pro Apollo 15
I popped into the Omega AD and while there I saw this version, LE 1971 pieces, LE box, displayback.It was quite striking but the strap's absence of any gold did not seem quite right.I was aware that the Speedy was available in full gold but had never seen a T/T available.I left promptly after my idiot brain reminded me I had a quality brown alligator strap just sitting there waiting for a donor watch.

Inevitability has arrived...
...brand new and sealed. After reading some of bad AD experiences of sizing the bracelet, I didn't want to risk it. So I took it to the HK Patek service centre and had it sized there. They had a nice set up where you can see into the service centre. Here they are sizing my bracelet. This is my first Patek. Whether it will be my one and only is still TBD. For now just enjoying the new toy; and happy to be apart of the club.

116610 blue custom bezel (Help)
I love the color of the Smurf but don't need the white gold bracelet or the mid $20's price tag. Would love to hear opinions on buying a 116610 with a custom smurf bezel. For 1/3 of the price I can get stainless steel and the color I love. A good friend who is really Rolex knowledgeable says HELL NO because of the voided warranty. There's a possibility I'd want to resell in the future but would be buying it to keep long term. What else should I be thinking about?
