Bremont Oracle II Review
Only a couple of months ago, Bremont announced a new partnership with the America's Cup Event Authority and Oracle Team USA, serving as the Official Timing Partner of the 35th America's Cup (yacht racing, but crazy high-tech ones that ride above the water). Following that, they released four watches in collaboration with their new patterns. Two classically inspired pieces called the American Cup series; a three-hander and chronograph, both of which hint at Marine chronometers. And two sport watches for the Oracle Team USA Series, based on their dive watch line, the Supermarines.While they are all attractive in their own right, the Oracle II really stood out for me. Of the watches, it felt the most like a standalone model that would occupy a unique place in Bremont's line up. It also riffed on a special edition from 2014 I was smitten with, the Terra Nova. Non LE black Bond...what's the score?
Pretty much as it says really!Do we know for sure exactly what form this watch will take? I thought it was basically the blue "Bond" but in black. Before that we all thought it was going to be the 2254.50 with a Co Axial movement and applied markers! Now Houston tells me it's going to be the classic "Bond" look but have the laquered dia(sweet) and therefore will be the LE minus the "007" stuff.Can we perhaps take this opportunity to pool all our sketchy knowledge of this watch into what may be a clearer picture of what it is we are waiting for?Has there been a press pack issued yet? I thought they were sent out immediatley after Basel?When is it supposed to be available?How much? (I presume it will be the same as the blue Bond plus the recent price hike?)I'm returning my PO today and am considering waiting for this "Mystery watch" instead of going with the 2254.50. Hello, recently I bought for my wife this Rolex DateJust 2 ref:.116333 an AD located in Venezuela Joyeria Pontevecchio CACentro Comercial Paseo Las Delicia II Local Av-8 Urb Las Delicias Maracay Aragua Venezuela However while looking certificate carefully I saw the client code (country code) in this certificate is 875 and not 770 that would be of Venezuela.I wondered if there was some addition to these codes, I have a SDDS bought on the same Jewellery with the correct client number 770.can someone help me?Thanks
