I received this watch today. I am very pleased with the appearance overall. Judging from the picture, i thought it was brushed stainless steel so I was a little disappointed that it's shiny. I got over that pretty quickly and i like the watch.

1953 Seamaster restoration - good value?
Just after buying my first Rolex (through this site), I posted a question about whether it was bad to let the watch sit in a case and wind down frequently. I was sort of hesitant about wearing my grail watch every day. A few guys here talked me down and I now wear it all the time, and love it. As you can see, the watch has been pretty extensively restored. Can anyone comment about pricing on this? I did a search or two but couldn't get a clear indication of what a restored watch like this should be worth. If it's sold 48 hours after this goes up, I'll have my answer. Query abt modding an Omega 'Bond' 300m Seamaster
Hi all,Got this on the 29th of Dec 2011 - an Omega 2531.80.Did not like the bracelet that came with it, and so fitted it out with a Panatime P rubber strap.With the rest of the family...Now I am wondering if I should have the dial replaced with an 'Electric Blue' Omega Seamaster dial? Anyone's done this before? Your comments will be greatly appreciated.TIA!Chye

After Manual Wind, Slight Rotation Necessary?
I noticed every time after manually winding, after I screw the crown back in, the watch will not start unless I give the watch at least a slight rotation.Is something disengaged and won't reengage until the rotor moves?I want to make sure it's working how intended.
