Strap suggestions for this Swiss Army Ambassador Chrono please
I recently picked up one of these on Ebay. The strap is in fairly rough shape and I'm looking for some suggestions for this watch. Hey guys,I'm a long time lurker, first time poster...I seem to have a problem. I'm addicted to 2 things in life1 is sneakers. That's not why I'm posting today. The other is watches. I tend to go back and forth between the twoLast year I bought 5 watches then took a break. This year I've bought 12 pairs of sneakers. And need to stop! I've been loving the Certina brand for a long time now but haven't made the jump on one yet. I had been looking at the DS Podium Big Size Quartz (because of price) but now my eye is on the new DS Podium Big Size GMT in silverI mean wow! ! !I'd think about switching it to a brown strap, but that's not the point. I want to know if anyone has this watch, has seen it in person, or is selling one! I am not very hopeful considering how little a presence Certina has in the US and UK but would be willing to buy overseas as well. Thoughts, opinions, comments welcome!

Got this from a friend of mine. It's a custom Simona that he had made for a Diver he used to have. Thoughts?

Will it affect my Panerai to wind it with the lever closed?
Is there something negative to wind up the watch with the lever closed? Wears the crown at the top? Wear it on the lock stock roll?Will it affect the water tightness by tearing the gasket with the crown in the depressed position when I wind it?
