Omega 522.10.44.50.03.001 wrist watches news:
I've inherited a Longines watch from my grandfather, and could do with some advice. Pics below - click on the images for bigger versions. The apparently-always-helpful Mr Krebs at St Imier told me this:
KW,I want to say a very big thank you for your leadership and contribution in this forum. Hope that your health will improve soon and please continue to share the things that make you smile - Orient or whatever watch that you fancy with us. your friend always!
I inherited my Grandfather's Patek Philippe pocket watch and I would imagine it's from the 1940's era. It is a wind up (if that's what you call them) and I'm wondering how often I should wind it. My Grandfather passed away in 1963 and I have had it in a bank vault for many of those years. I'm 65 so decided I might as well enjoy it.
Hi All,I was wondering if anyone has any knowledge about when ADs might have to report sales performance back to Patek? I am interested in adding a new piece to my collection (5170) and am flexible on timing. Thought perhaps buying at the end of the month/quarter might yield a few more percentage points saved on the sale. Thanks!
Has anyone bought a Rolex from Italy and brought it back to the US?I was just wondering if the watch needs to be declared when you get back and how much taxes you have to pay for so I can calculate if it's worth buying a watch from Italy.
