this claims to be a woman's watch but when I opened it I noticed that it was quite large and masculine....I did keep it though because it is easy to read and attractive...but not very feminine....be warned

My First Omega: Vintage Seamaster Cal. 420
I got my first Omega the other day (a vintage Seamaster circa 1957) . Of course, while setting it, the crown falls out! Also, it was represented as a caliber 300, when it is actually a 420, and "runs great!" I am looking for something to start learning watch repair on anyway should I return it or torture it in my workshop? Decisions, decisions! Two Heirloom Watches Given To Me Today
Excuse the crappy mobile phone pic. Sent to me by my 81 year old uncle in Oklahoma. The Bulova is one he bought in 1953 while in the Air Force in Oklahoma. He also says it was the watch he was married in. The other watch is marked "Cornell" and "Incablock" and "swiss". This watched belonged to his wife's late husband who had died in an auto accident in the early 50's, The crystal on the Cornell has some shattering in the center and both watches probably need serviced but both have been keeping good time all day. Does anyone know the model name of the Bulova or ANYTHING at all about the Cornell? Thanks watches2.jpg

Here is today's tidbit:Raymond Weil sued actress Charlize Theron for wearing a Christian Dior watch and necklace to an AIDS bash. Theron had inked a 14-month deal - for an undisclosed amount - saying she'd only wear Weil. Weil contends in the lawsuit it spent $20 million on the ad campaign with Theron.
