Audemars Piguet 26170ST.OO.D305CR.01 wrist watches news:
So I have super-small wrists, and would like to get an Isofrane for my Orange Monster (whose rubber strap stuck out awkwardly beyond the keeper when adjusted for my wrist) but wonder if it's a strap that works decently for us skinny guys without any major alterations? Pics if you've got 'em?
It has been some time since I got excited enough about a new one to take pictures and give some details of the new kid. I received the New Second edition Dual time Riedenschild today and I am very impressed to say the least. I took at shot with this Brand as I wanted to see if what they had done to the movement was as nice as they advertise. It is just what they say it is and some more. I have 10 Unitas movements in different watches and this is the cleanest and nicest decoration I have seen to date. There has been some questions from a few doubting the genuineness of the movement. If you doubt that it is Swiss, rest your fears it truly is and they have done some major improvements on the base Movement. They even give you the Certificate stating "This certificate verifies that this original Riedenschild watch was assembled by hand and proofed against the DIN Standards. I would recomend this one to anyone that wants a great manual wind to add to there collection. Here are the specks:Ried
As you know, Patek will celebrate their 175th anniversary in October, by releasing a set of special time pieces. Mr.Stern mentioned in the following interview, that this time they will try to please regular Patek collectors as well, by releasing not only ultra-high-end pieces:What do you think the new releases would be? Any wild (or not so wild) ideas?I personally believe it could well be something that noone expects. Like a limited run of a steel 2499, or a titanium 5970
So I just took delivery of a pre owned GMT Master II from a listing on TRF and for the life of me I can not get it to run. I have wound it 40 clicks, worn it while walking for nearly an hour, nothing has gotten it started. I'm not sure how to proceed from here. I don't want to pay another few hundred for a service - the cost difference would be minimal between that and a new GMT. Is there something else that may be causing it to not run? Thanks.
I wanted to have another look at the Deepsea...I have owned all manner of Subs and Sea Dwellers over the last 40 years and the idea of getting something that I have not owned really appeals to me...I had tried it on briefly once before when they first came out in 2008 and I thought it ridiculous...To big, to thick...But intelligence allows for a change...I LOVED it...!!!What I found so shocking was that I did not find it overly big at all...I didn't even think it was that heavy, based on some of the comments I have read...Here it is next to my Longine Legend Diver (42mmx52mm)Is it big, yes...Is it thick...Absolutely...But it seemed to fit my 8 wrist like a glove...I did not feel that the bracelet was to narrow...And on the wrist you do not notice the Original Gas Escape Valve writing at all...And the Domed crystal is killer...I spent an hour with it on and was smitten... I was planning on just getting another 14060 to go along with my LLD...But now...I just don't know...
