Baume & Mercier MOA10002 wrist watches news:
Hello Everyone,I have a Khaki King II Auto in black with a black leather Di-modell band with white stitching that I purchased in December 2004. I am interested in selling it and do not know what it would possibly be worth. I was wondering if anyone here had any ideas? I purchased it at an authorized Hamilton dealer here in Albuquerque, NM. The same dealer did a full-service for me in September 2006 and did a check-up for me in December 2008. I have kept it in great condition and store it in a polishing cloth when I am not wearing it. It has a few minor nicks on the bezel but nothing major. The sapphire crystal is spotless (of course).Any ideas? I paid $325 for it and now they are charging close to $500 for them.Thank you!
I've been wearing a watch since I was five years old mostly Casio's. But has I got older I started to like more and more good brands i.e. Rolex, Seiko, Citizen, Invicta, Patek etcBut since I could'nt afford and still can't afford a Rolex, or Patek at my age I started thinking why do some people spend thousands of dollars on a watch that tells the time if they can go get a cheaper watch that does the same thing? For some a watch is more then just a timepiece it's a piece of jewlery it's also a status symbol it also make's the wearer feel like their on top of the world. I've been lucky enough to go into some really nice highend jewlery stores and try on expensive brands, But even though as cool as I thought they were or how cool I looked wearing them I always said to myself a watch is a watch no matter the name on the dial, the exclusivity of the watch rather it's a limted edtion, or a one of a kind piece. So in conclusion it does'nt matter what you spend on a watch as long as it tells
