High-tech ceramic is the nucleus fundamental material which makes Rado mark pioneer at the forefront of its competitors.Rado Sintra is the first quarter of full-ceramic with a complete ceramic bracelet and case, Sapphire is the only other visible material used in this watch. In addition, Rado Sintra is the first quarter of full-ceramic to introduce color of Platinum, gold, black, white, blue and pink. The Rado Sintra gold Paillette illustrates perfectly the control of the process of production of the Rado. Its rich ceramic hued and bracelets gold is accentuated with an eye popping bright dial, creating a piece of design that isboth dazzling and accurate. The most recent model, the Rado Sintra automatic skeleton is more technical. The clearly visible movement of skeleton certified COSC is customized for Rado, all in black. Stressing the part of the movement in steel or gold color gives the vitality of the previous day. With the possible exception of a classic Military Submariner & its welded-in pins, do NATO/ZULU straps 'cheapen' the look of an expensive watch? This debate has been going on for some time now and each side has its advocates.Functionally, NATO/ZULU straps serve a practical purpose. They're inexpensive, durable, can be laundered easily and prevent watch loss in the event one pin fails. On the other hand, they often pale in comparison to an Oyster or Jubilee bracelet if substituted on a Rolex. If they are indeed best suited for less-expensive watches, then the obvious answer would be to use them with such. I've worn NATO/ZULUs with various inexpensive watches and actually kind of dig them. As far as putting one on something like a Patek-Philippe or Vacheron-Constantin, I might have second thoughts.
How come we don't have a G SHOCK forum? I know another forum has one but I would really like to see one here. I think they are really good watches.
I don't really need the day portion of the day date (i don't love the look and find it unnecessary), but would love an all gold datejust, as it just looks cleaner to me. The cost being lower would be an additional benefit. So my Basel wish is to have something like the watch below, in 40mm. Why hasn't this been carried forward?(watch pictured is not mine!)
