- This watch attracts inquiry, usually along with a squinted look of confusion. The major drawback to this watch is that it is nearly impossible to read in dim settings. A backlight would have done wonders for it.

Bvlgari LCV35WSSD wrist watches news:
At Baselworld 2013 we gave you an exclusive hands-on look at the Swatch Sistem51, the 51-component mechanical watch completely assembled by machine. Since then, we have been asked regularly "when will I be able to buy one?" Well, today your wait is over (kind of). The Sistem51 is officially launching in the United States today with a pop-up shop at Swatch's Times Square store in New York City, with a second location appearing in San Francisco later this month. Here are all the details about how to get your hands on this $150 Swiss-made marvel. 2 OF 4 Before we get into where you can buy one, here's a quick refresher on the Sistem51. As the name suggests, it has only 51 components including the mechanical movement. Everything is held together by a single central screw and the entire package is put together by machine ¨C even the balance is regulated by machine. The movement is made of an anti-magnetic alloy called ARCAP, has 19 jewels, and boasts a 90 hour power reserve. Pl
Hey guys !I finally got my hands on another semi-hermetic solid nickel WWI Illinois Watch Case Company case that was used by the US Army towards the end of the Great War ! ! !This particular case design is quite hard to come by (14mm thick lug version), it's only the 2nd one that I've had so that should tell you something. The dead giveaway to identifying this case is the lug design and the bezel configuration, very distinctive. The semi-hermetic seams/threading are in SUPERB condition.Nobody over the years has tried to open this case the WRONG way by prying it open, the bezel and case back screw on and off. (semi-hermetic)This latest one was in VERY poor condition when it first arrived and has obviously been neglected for many years. This case simply could not be left in it's current condition or the overwhelming corrosion would just eat it away down to nothing. This was rather unfortunate because it still had some of the original black case paint that was required by the United States Ar
I have a 2008 Chrono Cockpit w/turquoise dial and Roman numerals. I would like to get a black dial w/Romans. My AD said he would have to send it to Breitling where they would install the dial and a new caseback with a serial number that reflects the new dial color. The cost would be $1,200.Is there a source where I can just purchase a dial ?
This one has me a bit baffled. I liked the curve of the case and when I turned it over, it threw me that the case has screw downs in the corners of the lugs. The only thing is that I can't get the movement out of the caseback at this time. Any information that can be added on this would be appreciated...
Hi guys! First of all pardon me for being a noob regarding this thread.I have been looking for a yellow colored rubber strap for my bumblebee, and I have no luck in finding one.Was told by Audemars piguet Singapore service centre that they do not carry yellow rubber straps for offshore.Could anyone advise me on how to lay my hands on an aftermarket one? I would really love to have a small sized yellow rubber strap that fits onto my OEM deployment clasp. Guess it would look awesome with my bumblebee.
