- Most of the time I can see the hazards. I don't want to go there. I can see the Green, how far it is, is what I want to know. The S1 does it real simple. No need for a lot of bells and whistles.

- I own a number of Hamilton watches and love them all. This is no exception! Very unusual. I get comments from time to time on the distictiveness of the watch.

It's December already (already!) and you know what that means: pre-SIHH announcements for watches that will officially debut next month in Geneva are already coming in. This one's a big one: six new models from Cartier (and believe us when we tell you this is just the tip of the iceberg.) Without further ado, let's get this show on the road. Hi GuysBeen mod at the Hamilton forum since 2009 and admit to occassionally rolling my eyes to the never ending string of "just inherited this from Grandad; what is it and what's it worth?" posts.Well, I'm now that poster I'm an expat living in Zambia; three weeks ago a work colleague's father passed away. As the office "watch guy" she has come to me seeking advice about her father's Patek; the usual questions: What's it worth, what would be the best way to sell it etc. There's no thought of passing the watch onto a family member; the family are all keen to convert the assets to cash. Being in Zambia it is not as easy as putting it on ebay - ebay and PayPal don't operate here and, even they did, there's no way the watch could be sent out by couriers such as FedEx or DHL. (I have had a $20K down hole probe vanish in transit and also a CD of data - in both cases the courier company could not even hazard a guess at where the items had got to - so much for shipment tracking).I've asked
I am looking to purchase an Omega Seamaster 300M AUTOMATIC GMT 2234.50.00. However, the watch seems to have been discontinued. Does anyone know about how much I can expect to pay for such a watch and where I can purchase one? Thanks
Only 300 pieces made, I love it !
