Longines L3.644.4.56.6 wrist watches news:
Ultra luxury watches are also rare and exclusive. Sometimes you need to be the right person to buy one, or there are some of them done. Almost all the time to buy these watches implies an expectation? unless you're lucky. The watch industry of luxury pats itself on the back to same the most important people in the world wait months or watches that cost more than houses of nice longer.
Here is one of mine...And here is another one...These vintage treasures are amazing...If you have any, please share them with us..
The Casetta appears to have specific setting for TPD. 650 bi-directional is what I'll need for the majority of my watches. My questions is that if 650TPD (or anything else) is set and the module rotates every 10 minutes to equal this specific TPD, when the rotation finishes and the Rotorwind does is thing moving back and forth from the gravity of the watch, doesn't this end up equaling more than the specified about of TPD? To this end, if a particular watch is heavier than another, wouldn't the heavier watch probably get even more movement of the rotor equaling even more TPD than a lighter watch? I understand the there is built in over wind protection in a movement and not much likelihood of any damage but I was just curious if the TPD set would be inherently exceeded because of the way the module operates? Thanks! Well I get to post up my first "incoming"!Last night my wife placed an order for me for my first Citizen, AT0200-05E.I plan on using it as an everyday watch (I don't care for the term 'beater')to replace my Seiko Honda F1 for everyday use. Here's a pic: I'll post up some pics when it gets here.I've never owned a Citizen, but I'd like to get aquainted with the Eco drive technology, and this would seam to be a great entry level oppertunity to do so.(Mods, I posted this in the "General" section as well, if you feel it's too redundant, feel free to remove.)
Thinking of picking one up this summer as it captured my attention when I finally saw one in person, but I'm wondering how it will wear long-term. Anyone have one for awhile and either get tired of it (or not)? How versatile do you find it? Just looking for some thoughts. Thanks!
