Jaeger LeCoultre 252 81 10 wrist watches news:
A new guard pin system developed for the watch enhances shock resistance. This reduces the risk of accidental displacement of the pallet fork. The high frequency of the movement has a significant thirst for energy. Burberry have equipped the movement with twin barrels affording the watch a power reserve of 90 hours. I particularly like the view of the spring barrels, visible from both the front and back of the watch.
Well, I couldn't get the 2254.50, so I decided I won't get the 2234.50 either, so I pulled the trigger on these:1. From the 2010 purchase list Longines Hydroconquest L3.673.4.76.62. Not from the purchase list, but I loved the colors of this oneTissot PRS 516 Automatic Chronograph, Valjoux 7750 T91.1.417.31My February expense was more than should be, but what the h***, you only live once So, this raises to three my incoming watches for this month, and no more either...I seriously have to start selling some watches, will have to see the "Want to buy" posts
Well 2 things...one I'm running around this morning trying to get stuff ready for my mom's b-day party...two I'm wearing a watch I've never worn before. It's watch that was one of my grandfathers and it's a Timex Automatic. Really beat up but its about the only vintage I have wanted to wear that I own. So last night I wound it up and set the time. This morning it was right on -ish and so when I went to get the propane I stopped at the drugstore and got a leather strap for it.Oh and third...hopefully I can get a few more shots today...Here we are taking out the trash and moving the "babies" out into the sun. (I'm a novice gardener and this year we will have two gardens)...:DBelow: you can see how scratched it is; in full sun.Now off to finish the laundry.
Greetings to the Omega experts...I just came into possession of this Marlboro World Championship racing two register chronograph with unknown manufacturer or any discoverable history. The watch is quite striking and appears to be in unworn overall condition. The more I research this watch the more confused I get. What I think I know thus far is that the watch houses a Lemania 5012 movement which is a derivative of the 5100 without the 24 hour sub dial, has a classic Heuer dial configuration and color and is housed in a case consistent with the very large and bulky Omega stainless steel casesfrom the mid 1970's.What I know for sure is that this two register chronograph is massive in size and weight and commands a very impressive wrist presence (wrist shot attached) and overall high quality look, feel and functionality as it keeps excellent time and the chrono functions work quite well.Lastly, I have researched the relationship between Marlboro Racing (F1) and Swiss watches and Heuer come
