Patek Philippe 7010/1R wrist watches news:
Would anyone be able to give me a little advice concerning an Omega watch. Is there a way to get a posative ID from the case number. This particular watch has no dial which is why I need to find out what it is to get a new one.It has a calibre 625 movement. case number is 1110107.Also it has a plastic crystal which i'm guessing is non original. The front pops off whith the crystal. The movement comes out through the front. The back is small about the size of a 10 pence piece. The watch is also very slim.My best guess is that it's a Deville. Any help would be much appreciated.
I am looking for the fluted bezel ring for a Tutima UROFA 59 Luftwaffe Officer's watch. Except for scratches on crystal, the watch is in excellent condition with almost no brassing and the the original leather strap in incredible condition. It runs well, but I suspect it needs a cleaning/servicing. I really want to complete this watch, as it deserves it. Any leads on a part, substitute part, or possible source for the part, would be greatly appreciated. . I am new to the forum, also, so any advice on the use of the forum would be great. Thanks.
I had work done by internationalwatchworks, and here are my thoughts on the experience.Best wishes, Peterhttps://youtube/watch?v=rRNV2g2Lv0M
Hello FriendsRecently I posted which AP I should add to my collection. I think I've decided to go with the Diver. Now am I crazy to trade my Daytona towards the Diver. I find the Daytona too shiny and the non date feature kind of bothers me. I'm also finding it difficult to wear anything but my AP right. Seriously am I losing it, or just appreciating higher quality craftsmanship. I know some will say, get what sings to you, but sometimes you need a TRF check before moving ahead. :)
Excuse my terrible picture taking but my mom dug up an old rolex (complete with papers!). A quick googling shows that it's worth a little bit (nothing crazy) but is it even worth servicing? It doesn't really hold much sentimental value either. It definitely needs a new band as the leather is crumbly but it actually still runs!Edit:I noticed I didn't post this in the vintage forum, sorry :(
